As a devoted mother and wife, I strive to balance the demands of family life with my passion for creating meaningful memories for my children. By day, I lead a team of special investigators, tackling fraud and fighting crime. By night, I step into the whimsical world of children’s books, capturing the magic and joy of childhood.

Born and raised in South Africa, I developed a love for art and storytelling early on, inspired by my family’s creative legacy. My father led the graphic art department for a major television station, and my grandfather was a well-known oil painter. While life’s demands led me to focus on my analytical side, my artistic passion never waned. Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I am committed to blending creativity with my daily responsibilities, crafting stories that bring laughter and joy to children everywhere.

The Kookamoot series was born from cherished family traditions and inspired by my own children. My hope is to create stories that resonate with readers, sparking joy and imagination in children as they learn the love for reading.
